I design, make and hand finish these earrings with care and love.

I engrave and cut my original design from sheets of wood using a laser. The wood I use is a high-quality Birch ply. It is from fully certified, sustainable sources and therefore ideal for the eco-conscious.

I clean, condition, and sand the wood by hand before adding hand painted rainbow accents to the central bar. This makes this simple design pop beautifully with pride.

The paints I use have a gorgeous metallic finish to them that catches the light wonderfully. I apply a dark oak stain to the remaining, unpainted wood for added richness and contrast. I seal the whole piece with a gloss varnish for a lasting finish.

I attach high-quality, silver plated ear hooks to the wooden pieces so that they can be worn. These are lead and nickel free to reduce irritation and, as the wood is so lightweight, the earrings dangle comfortably from the ear with ease.
